Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Kokomo Anchor Epoxy Flooring website and any work you hire us to do. When you use the site, ask for an estimate or approve a proposal, you agree to them.
If a signed proposal or contract for your job says something different from this page, the signed document wins for that job. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work with us.
Who we are and what we do
Kokomo Anchor Epoxy Flooring is a flooring contractor in Kokomo, IN. We coat, polish, seal, repair and resurface concrete floors for homes and businesses in Kokomo and the cities around it. You can see the full list of services on our home page and read more about the crew on our About page.
What we'll actually do on your floor is set out in the written proposal for your job. If a service isn't listed there, it isn't part of the job unless we both agree to add it in writing.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free, done in person and come with no obligation to hire us. We look at the floor before we price it, because the price depends on the size of the area, the shape the concrete is in, how much grinding and crack or patch repair it needs, any moisture coming up through the slab and which coating or finish you pick.
Your price is the one in the written proposal, and it's good for the time the proposal states. Some problems only show up once we've ground the old surface off, like hidden cracks, old adhesive or a weak top layer. If that happens, we'll stop, show you what we found and give you the added cost before we do any extra work, and nothing extra gets done without your okay.
Scheduling, weather and cancellation
We'll give you a start date and an expected finish date when you approve the job. Coatings need the right temperature and humidity to cure properly, so we may move a date for weather, a material delay or a slab that needs more time to dry, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as early as you can. If you cancel after we've ordered materials made or tinted for your job, you may owe for those materials and for any work already done.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit, are written in your proposal. Unless the proposal says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a balance goes unpaid, we'll reach out to sort it out first. If that doesn't work, we may use the steps Indiana law allows to collect what's owed, including the reasonable costs of collecting it.
Your part of the job
You agree to give our crew access to the work area, power and water where the job needs them, and a space that's cleared of cars, shelving and belongings unless we've agreed to move them. Tell us before we start about anything we should know, like past leaks, water coming up through the floor or old coatings you know about.
A new floor needs time before it can take foot traffic, vehicles or furniture, and we'll tell you how long for your system. Following those times and the care instructions we give you keeps the floor performing and keeps any warranty in place.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something isn't right with the work we did, call us and we'll come look at it and make it right. Any written warranty on materials or workmanship, and how long it runs, will be in your proposal.
Concrete is a natural material, so some things fall outside what we can promise. That includes cracks or movement in the slab underneath, moisture problems in the slab that existed before the job, normal wear, damage from impact, sharp objects, harsh chemicals or misuse, and small differences in color or pattern, which are part of how metallic, stained and polished floors look.
Apart from the guarantee and any written warranty in your proposal, our work and this website are provided without other warranties, express or implied, to the extent Indiana law allows.
Limits on our liability
Our crew is licensed and fully insured. Even so, to the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim tied to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.
We aren't responsible for indirect losses, like lost business or lost use of a space, or for delays caused by things outside our control, like weather or supply shortages. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that Indiana law says can't be limited.
Using this website
What's on this site is general information about concrete floors and our services. It isn't a quote and it isn't advice for your particular floor, because every slab is different until we've seen it.
The words and photos on the site belong to Kokomo Anchor Epoxy Flooring. Please don't copy them for another business without asking us first.
If we disagree
If you're unhappy with anything, call us first, because most problems get fixed fastest in a conversation at the job. If that doesn't settle it, send us a written description of the problem through our contact page, and we'll both try in good faith to work it out within 30 days.
If we still can't agree, either of us may take the matter to the state courts that serve Howard County, Indiana.
Which state's law applies
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. A change won't alter the terms of a proposal you've already signed.
